ImageThe Rock Creek Community Association is a volunteer organization chartered to maintain the entrances and common areas of Rock Creek and support projects to improve our neighborhood. Our goal is to increase the quality of living in Rock Creek and at the same time increase property values for all residents. The RCCA meets every second Tuesday of the month at Rock Creek Elementary, at 7pm.

Minutes for the RCCA March, 2010 Board Meeting
RCCA Board Meeting, 9 March '10, 7--8 PM 
Attending: Mary Stevens, Steve Carlin, Lisa Anderson, David Miller 
  resident John Burton and son made a brief visit 
Mission: Summarized 
Minutes: Approved (Lisa/David) 
Treasury: Lisa presented the report, approved (Steve/Mary) 
Landscape Committee: Mary reported that David is willing to put granular fertilizer on plants at entrances. Inconclusive discussion of fertilizer sources. 
Volunteer Coordinator: This month's volunteer work day is March 20. April 17 chosen for next month's volunteer maintenance day 
FORC: Nothing new 
Update on Old Business: 
a. Maintenance for RC Blvd. medians: Discussion of Twin Oaks Landscape bids for maintenance ($400/month), and for removal of 6 ugly bushes at 185th and Rock Cr. Blvd ($175). Bush removal bid seemed attractive. Island maintenance bid requires more investigation. David will follow up. 
b. Landscape project proposals for West Union/Kahneeta entrance: no bid yet from TruScapes. 
c. Tree replacement at 185th and RC Blvd. and planting flowers: no bid yet from TruScapes. 
d. Water Proposals for Tamarack Entrance: Steve Carlin presented a Teufel bid for injection watering incorporating liquid fertilizer. 
Newsletter: Peruse preliminary content presented by Lisa, discussion. Send in suggested changes by Friday, 12 March. Printing and mailing next week. 
f. Website postings: Lisa will submit materials to new webmaster for posting. 
New Business: No repair has been made yet after several months on the lights at 185th and Rock Cr. Blvd. entrance. Mary is working on retrieval of electric box key from Guy Yankovich. 
Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 13, 2010 in Room M120 at Rock Creek School
