After numerous accidents, close calls, lengthy waiting times because of long lines of cars at peak hours, and citizens reporting concerns to the county, construction on a westbound left-turn lane from West Union Road onto Neakahnie Ave has finally been completed.

 

Washington County has completed the left-turn lane from westbound West Union Road to Neakahnie Avenue, and now Westbound traffic on West Union can flow freely when someone needs to make a left-turn onto Neakahnie Avenue.
