The donations that you give to the Rock Creek Community Association go to maintaining and beautifying the entrances to our community.  To enhance the beauty of the entrances and help with weed control we apply dark hemlock bark mulch every couple of years, and we just had bark mulch blown in to the islands along Rock Creek Blvd.  We alternate between doing all of the entrances, and doing the Rock Creek Islands which take almost as much bark as all the entrances.  Here are some photographs of the bark being applied.
